• Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal and accounting retention requirements.
• Portability: receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
• Opt-out: opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. HelloGov does not sell your personal data.
• Objection & restriction: object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing.

How your data is protected

HelloGov maintains SOC 2–aligned controls, NIST–informed security practices, and full GDPR/CCPA compliance. All documents are encrypted in transit and at rest, with strict role-based access controls and continuous auditing. You can review our live security posture at the Trust Center.

Data retention

Customer application data and personal data is deleted within 60 days after service is completed, except for customer name, email, phone number, and transaction details. This information must be retained in compliance with legal and accounting rules and in the event a refund is requested. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
